Use Setup mode to congure the logging values and other settings using Click
Supervisor.
5 Hold the push-button down, then release when the green LED comes on.
6 Press the push-button to select.
7 Run Click Supervisor and select Communication. is screen allows you to
pick the type of connection, serial or IP. e Click 514 must be congured us-
ing serial communication.
8 Click Settings, then make any necessary changes to the settings, such as the
port. Click OK to return to the Communication screen, then click Connect.
Keep the Click ID set to 0.
9 In the next screen, Click Supervisor will display all the devices it discovers.
When the Click 514 appears, select it and click Select. Click Supervisor will
connect to the device.
10 Click Setup Click and select Expert from the driver list.
11 When the driver is loaded, click on the 514 tab. You will then see the Settings
tab with the following elds to congure:
˽ Time Zone – Allows you to select the time zone for presentation of data.
˽ File Time – Sets the duration of each log le in the recording session. e
options are Hourly, Daily or Continuous. If Continuous is selected, all logged
data ill be ent to one le without segmentation every hour or day.
˽ Sensor ID – Allows you to enter the Sensor ID for the SmartSensor HD. e
Sensor ID is used for time synchronization.

Programming mode
Once the device has been congured, use Programming mode to automatically program the DataBridge
SDR2-CF device.
1 Remove the serial cable from your computer.
2 Use a Null modem adapter and a male-to-male
gender changer to connect the cable to the
conguration port of the DataBridge.
3 On the Click 514, hold the push-button down,
then release when the yellow LED turns on.
4 Press the push-button to select. e yellow
LED bank will light up, indicating that it is
programming.
5 When the yellow LED bank turns o and the
record LED on the DataBridge lights up, pro-
gramming is complete.
